Age Limit

The age of candidate should not exceed 30 years as on 01-January-2017. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH i.e. (Persons with disability) categories is available as per extant Government orders.

Qualification

Candidates must be completed their Graduation. The academic qualification will be vary depending on the posts on which they are applying for.

Application Fee for SSC JHT 2017

Interested candidates need to pay an application fee of Rupees 100 through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or through Credit/Debit cards of any bank. Females candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Persons with disability and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee. Once application fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Nationality

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came in India, before the 1-January-1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

How to Apply for SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017?

Candidates can apply for the combined recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2017 through the online mode only. Procedure of filling the application form through online mode given here below:-
  • First visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission http://ssconline.nic.in/, and jump over the heading "Combined Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination, 2017" then "Click to apply" link which will be in blue colour. After that you will be redirected on http://164.100.129.99/jht2017/ website that is "Application Form Window".
  • SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 has mainly three parts i.e. "Registration Part", "Instructions to Candidates" and "Apply Part".
  • Candidates must have to read the important instructions carefully before filling the SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 under "Instructions to Candidates".
  • Then candidates have to fill basic required details in "Registration Part" i.e. Name, Father Name, Address, DOB, Education etc.
  • And in finally "Apply Part", candidates need to pay application fee, upload scanned photograph and signature in proper size and dimensions as described in "Instructions to Candidates".

Selection Procedure: SSC JHT 2017 Recruitment

Selection of the candidates will be finalized on the basis of their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II. Staff Selection commission has decided in 2017 to conduct the Paper-I in computer based mode. The Paper I and Paper-II of SSC Junior Hindi Translator (SSC JHT) will be conducted on 15-June-2017.

Exam Pattern: SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) 2017

The SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 examination will contain two papers that is paper-I and Paper-II. The total marks of Paper-I and Paper-II would be 400 marks. The Paper-I that is objective type will contains two sections that are General Hindi and General English and they will be conducted in computer based mode only. The Paper-II will be a Descriptive type of maximum 200 marks comprising of questions on translation and essay. Paper-II will be given by only those candidates, who attain the minimum qualifying standard in Paper-I. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
