Essential Educational Qualification

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree (as on 04-Aug-2017) in science with Physics as one of the subject / Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/ University or equivalent.

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rupees 100/- through SBI Challan/ Net-Banking and Debit/Credit Card. Females, SC/ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen candidates no need to pay any application fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came in India, before the 1-January-1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Scheme of Examination
  • This examination would comprise 200 questions carrying 200 marks.
  • The question paper would have two parts, Part-I & Part-II. Again Part-I will have 4 sections as below:-
  1. General Intelligence & Reasoning
  2. Quantitative Aptitude
  3. English language & Comprehension
  4. General Awareness
  • Each section of Part-I will contain 25 questions for maximum 25 marks.
  • Part-II will have questions based on Physics, Computer Science and Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
  • Part-II will contain 100 questions for maximum 100 marks.
  • Total Time for solving question paper (including Part-I & Part-II) will be 2 Hours.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Part-I and Part-II.
  • Using of Mobile Phone, calculator or any other electronic device for answering not allowed during the exam.
